Google not picking up keyword search for my website?

Dear all

Now as I understand it, Google does not use meta tags to match keywords used in search terms to URLs – is that correct?

My question is, how do I make it so that when I type in a keyword in the search engine, Google displays my website?

I think the text needs to be in the body of the website, which it is, just not in large quantity.

How do I make it display then?

Thanks.

    Hi Gangstar,

Hmmm Meta tags are some how important. Metatags are certainly not as important as keyword density but they still cannot be neglected completely.

And coming to the keyword ranking we need to use the keyword in our website body 3 to 5 % and use them as H1 tags and anchor text then do some link building for same keywords then your site will index for keyword as top postion…

Hi, i Have a site (bluecirclet.com ) so whatever i say should and is correct… anyhow, it IS in the results, just like in 1,000 page or so :P anyhow, they may use different keywords (like, from article you wrote) and they come to your site (but maybe not comment, but theyll visit anyway)

it is in google, trust me :P

    (1) Use the word in your text
    (2) Give it time to be indexed (up to 3 months in some cases)
    (3) Be relevant enough for that keyword to be findable – there are a lot of websites that mention, for instance, the word 'cat'.
